Stretch Marks Salve
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup Shea Butter
- 1/4 cup Coconut Oil
- 3 tbsp Apricot Oil
- 1/4 tbsp dried ginger root
Directions:
- Combine dried ginger and apricot oil in a double boiler (bowl over a small pan of water)
- Heat for 30 mins on low to medium heat
- Strain to remove herbs
- Return oil to bowl; add shea butter and coconut oil
- Heat until melted; stir
- Remove from heat and store in a small glass jar
Homemade Lotion
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Avocado Oil (or other liquid oil)
- 1/4 cup Coconut Oil
- 1/4 cup Beeswax
- 1 tsp Vitamin E oil (optional)
- 2 tbsp Shea Butter
- Other essential oils or scented oils (optional)
Directions:
- Combine avocado oil, coconut oil, shea butter and beeswax in double boiler
- Stir occasionally as ingredients melt
- Add in other essential oils or scented oils
- Store in small jar or tin
Use within 6 months for maximum moisturizing benefits
